Packaging die manufacturing

Packaging cutting dies for clean production and shelf-ready forms

Packaging dies are judged both on the machine and on the shelf. The closure must work, hanger holes must hold, waste must separate and the finished package must keep its shape.

Where this die fits

Packaging drawings often combine creasing, perforation, window cuts, hanger holes and glue flaps. A small clearance issue can create trouble on filling or packing lines.

That is why the end use and packing method are reviewed along with the outer shape.

  • Cosmetics, food, textile and promo packaging
  • Lock boxes, hanger cards and window packages
  • Kraft, coated board, bristol and greyboard
  • Launch samples and short-deadline jobs

What we check before production

The drawing is read as a production file, not just a shape. These checks help prevent delays on press.

  • Glue flap and lock clearance
  • Strength around windows and hanger holes
  • Folding direction and crease channel
  • Print margin and cut safety distance

Quote information

A clear quote is easier when these details arrive together. A file is helpful, but a measured sample can also start the conversation.

  • Material, board weight and surface finish
  • Filling or packing method
  • Deadline and production quantity

Common questions

Q·01 Is an open dieline required?

It is the fastest option. If you only have a sample, it can be measured and redrawn.

Q·02 Does kraft packaging need different creasing?

Yes. Grain direction and crease channel are more sensitive on kraft and thick board.

Q·03 Can window and hanger holes be added?

Yes. Window cuts, hanger holes and perforation details can be planned on the same die.

Send the drawing, material and deadline; we will check the right die setup.
