Unlike an adhesive sticker, a hang tag is adhesive-free card: it is not stuck onto the product but tied on with string or a stem. So the die plans the custom outer shape and the string hole together; the shape and hole come from one die.
Where this die fits
A hang tag die does a different job from an adhesive label: the hang tag is cut from single-ply card and tied to the product with string. Apparel and textile product tags, jewellery and accessory cards, e-commerce product cards and gift/price tags are made with this die.
The outer shape, corner radius and string hole can be checked one by one from a drawing, sample or measured photo. (Note: this die is not for adhesive labels.)

A hang tag is adhesive-free single-ply card; there is no face stock and liner. It is not stuck onto the product but tied on with string or a stem. The die cuts the outer shape and the string hole together.
2Is the string/stem hole built into the die?
Yes. The hole and outer shape are planned in one die; the hole center and its distance to the edge are checked before production.
3Can you make a rounded corner or custom shape?
Yes. The corner radius and custom contour are cut with steel rule; the shape is taken from a drawing or a sample.
