Where this die fits

Gasket cutting dies and gasket cutting tools are used for sealing parts, spacers, felt, foam, rubber and thin supported technical forms. Compression and hole cleanliness directly affect the job.

Outer shape, holes, channels and special notches can be checked from a drawing, sample or measured photo.

What we check before production

In sealing jobs, a small tolerance difference can affect assembly. Inner holes, outer contour and compression are checked together.

Common questions

Which materials can gasket dies cut?

NBR, EPDM, rubber, foam, felt, EVA and some thin supported technical sheets can be prepared with the right setup.

Can you make a gasket die without a technical drawing?

Yes. A good sample is measured, redrawn and the production tolerance is confirmed.

Can small holes be cut cleanly?

Hole size, hardness and thickness are checked together. A punch or different rule solution may be recommended when needed.

Is a gasket die the same as a gasket cutting die or a steel rule die?

They are names for the same tool. Hardened steel rule set into a plywood base is called a gasket die, a gasket cutting die or a steel rule die; an order only needs the material, size and tolerance.
